Monster Bookmark
This craft can be made for Book Day or as a motivation to encourage reading. If you want to watch the craft video and download a bookmark template, you can find them at the end of this post.
Materials we will need:
- Colored sheets.
- Googly eyes.
- Glue.
- Scissors.
Cut a sheet of the color you want your monster (base) to be, to get a 21 x 21 centimeter square. Fold it in half horizontally and vertically.
Cut out one of the four marked squares.
Fold the two squares at the ends in half.
Cut along the marked line.
Cut out a piece of a different colored sheet (this will be the mouth) of about 9 x 9 centimeters and glue it onto the base square.
Draw and cut out sharp teeth on a white sheet.
Fold one end and glue the teeth, apply glue and attach the other end.
Glue the eyes on the top part.
And now our monster bookmark would be ready.
