Monster Bookmark
We can make this craft for Book Day or as a motivation to encourage reading. If you want to watch the craft video and download a bookmark template, you can find them at the end of this post.
Materials we will need:
- Colored sheets of paper.
- Googly eyes.
- Glue.
- Scissors.
Cut a sheet of paper in the color you want your monster (base) to be, so that it forms a 21 x 21 centimeter square. Fold it in half horizontally and vertically.
Cut out one of the four marked squares.
Fold the two end squares in half.
Cut along the marked line.
Cut a sheet of a different color (this will be the mouth) approximately 9 x 9 centimeters and glue it onto the base square.
Draw and cut out sharp teeth from a white sheet of paper.
Fold one end and glue the teeth, apply glue, and then glue the other end.
Glue the eyes on the top part.
And now our monster bookmark would be ready.
