Heart Hanger
We are going to make a very simple, beautiful, and economical craft. In this case, we have made a heart, but we can use any shape we can think of with the same technique, such as a butterfly, a flower, a kiss, etc. You can also watch the video of its creation on our YouTube channel by clicking on "Heart Hanger".
*Materials we will need:*
- Cardboard.
- Scissors.
- Red tissue paper.
- Glue.
- Thick cord or rope.
Draw a heart on a piece of cardboard and cut it out. This will serve as the base for our craft.
Fold the tissue paper and cut out squares of approximately 4x4 centimeters.
Apply glue to a part of the heart base and start sticking tissue paper cones.
In the video, you can see in detail how to make the cones to stick them onto the base. Repeat this step until the entire heart is covered.
Let it dry, and once dry, make two holes at the upper ends and thread the cord. You can secure the cord at the back by gluing two pieces of EVA foam with hot silicone.
Now it's ready to decorate any place or to give as a gift to someone very special. It can also be a craft made with our children to celebrate Family Day or Valentine's Day.
